How Does This Treatment Work?

Steps To Take
Ahead of your appointment, we may ask that you do a few things to make your treatment as easy as possible. For example, we’ll recommend avoiding blood-thinning medications like aspirin and fish oil tablets for a few days, as these can lead to bruising. We’ll ask that you avoid harsh sunlight so your face doesn’t get sunburnt as well. Finally, on the day, you’ll be advised to come in with a clean face that’s free of makeup and even sunscreen, so there’s no risk of a foreign substance contaminating the needle.
On the Day
Your appointment will take place here in our stunning Metairie office, and will be performed by a member of our expert team. They’ll first app a topical numbing cream to the areas that will be treated. They will then follow along with the treatment plan, which will detail where we make the injections, how many you’ll need, and how many units of product to use. Many patients report that throughout the process, they experience minimal discomfort. The whole thing only takes about fifteen minutes, and then you’re all done!
