There are plenty of Plastic Surgeons out there to choose from. But if you want not only a great surgeon, you want a great human being then choose Dr. Trey Sands. He truly cares about his patience and wants to help people. His staff is wonderful too. I am a fat person and because I was obese I was treated like my life didn’t matter because I was fat. I had this horrible mass that needed to be removed, but my insurance wouldn’t help cover this because of an obese clause in my insurance. I went to two surgeons prior to finding the best one. The other two just wouldn’t fight for me. Dr. Sands and his staff fought hard for me, asking for nothing in return, and got this covered. They went above and beyond to do it, because they could tell I needed this and they cared. I am the happiest I have been in years and I owe it all to Dr. Sands. He changed my LIFE!!! He is an outstanding person and happens to be an excellent Doctor. You will not be making a mistake if you choose to go see him, he is amazing.

Throughout the entire process, from scheduling an appointment to post-surgical care, I've had a great experience with the amazing and polite staff. What stands out to me, besides my great results, is communication. The staff was (and continues to be) quick to respond to my emails and texts with helpful information. On top of this, my surgical results are beyond perfect, and I never experienced any sort of major pain through the healing process. I would 100% recommend Dr. Sands and the staff to others in the future!

Hearing you have breast cancer is scary ! During the pandemic is even scarier! Dr Sands & his staff were amazing! Dr sands had so much compassion for me and never rushed me while I asked my millions of questions! I was scared and felt alone as my husband couldn’t be with me! Dr sands held my hand the entire way and made me feel so cared for! The results are still underway but I’m so happy with what I’m seeing so far! Couldn’t imagine being with any other surgeon! Dr Sands takes calls no matter the day or time and got back To me in minutes when I had a question! If I was looking for a COSMETIC surgeon I’d pick him! I picked him for reconstruction as he was referred highly by several other doctors! I’m thankful I was directed to him! Perfection is his end goal and making you feel amazing and comfortable! In the midst of reconstruction I also got lip filler for the first time and Botox ! Was so happy with my LOOK! I looked like me but better ! I’ll for sure be ready when the time comes for more ! DR SANDS IS ONE OF A KIND HE TRULY HAS HIS PATIENTS CONCERNS FIRST! So happy to have found a doctor who cares about the patients nor their ego! ( thats totally Dr Sands ) 🤗

My experience so far with Dr. Sands has been the best interaction I have had with a plastic surgeon! I have seen three surgeons before him that only made me feel less-than. I believe a lot of other surgeons forget that the majority people they are seeing are insecure about some aspect of themselves. Some surgeons become numb to that and it becomes so routine to them that they forget not everyone knows as much as they do. In turn, the patient is not as comfortable as the surgeon may be. Dr. Sands did not forget. He allowed me to finally feel comfortable for the first time with a doctor. Before meeting me in a paper robe, I was able to meet and talk to him fully-clothed about the process of how this appointment will go. (Which I think is extremely important, not only being insecure about parts of my body, but then to just show all of that to a MALE doctor as my first hello, it’s not easy.) I very much appreciated that extra time of explanation. After that, he walked me through everything he plans to do for my procedure from exactly where I will have scars, the angle he will be working his tools, how much work he will be doing with each part of my body, measures he will take to be safe and accurate, and MOST IMPORTANTLY explaining WHY the way he plans to do it the way he describes, is the best option. That was the most comforting part of all of this. I have never had surgery, so this was all completely necessary to help me have confidence in him and my decision to choose him. This is an elective surgery with a big financial decision. I was having an extremely hard time justifying the costs with my decision on something I have been wanting for a while, simply because the other male surgeons did not go out of their way to make this a comforting/ easy decision like Dr. Sands did. I appreciate the extra effort that was put in by Dr. Sands. I can tell he understands the value of his work and how big of a decision this is for me. This process has been an emotional roller-coaster for me going head on with my insecurities, and it is just the beginning. Thank you Dr. Sands for finally making this decision easier and more comfortable for me.

For over 10 years I I was horribly disfigured from a botched tt. I finally decided to see if it could be fixed. From the moment I walked into the beautiful office and met dr. sands and his staff, I knew that I was going to taken care of. Dr. Sands is more then a plastic surgeon....he is a sculpture. Hi eye is impeccable.Not only did he repair all the hideous scars and muscles, he went beyond and made my figure more beautiful then I could have imagined. I was scared to death to go through a 2nd tt surgery but the doctor and his team made me feel at ease, taken care of and most importantly beautiful. I encourage anyone that’s unhappy with a part of their body to go talk with him. He changed my life.

My lymphatic massage from Krista Violet Helped the pain and swelling. She helped me get back to work quickly.

Dr. Sands is professional but warm, a highly skilled surgeon, and a snappy dresser. Alejandra, Brittany, and Sthefany, his office staff, are sweet and non-judgmental. The office is clean, there's ample parking and wait times are always short. Por lo menos Alejandra y Sthefany hablan español. I had top surgery with Dr. Sands...I really love my results and I get lots of compliments on his work. If you're thinking about top surgery, I highly recommend scheduling a consultation with him. You'll love him and your results.

I had the fat remove from my arms ..arm lift and it's been 4months and I love my results..he is a good doctor and very attentive..I will recommend dr sands to anyone..

I feel so blessed to have been referred to Dr. Trey Sands. I have been overweight all of my life and somehow managed to get up to 298 lbs. I made the decision to have Lap Band surgery in July of 2002 and lost 140lbs. By the grace of God and a lot of hard work I have kept the weight off, however I had an abundance of extra skin. I made an appointment with Dr. Sands for a consultation. I was so nervous! Dr. Sands and Sthefany made me feel so at ease right away. I knew right then and there that this was the place for me. So much so that I called Carmen the next day to schedule a Fleur De Lis Tummy Tuck as well as an arm lift/Brachioplasty in January of 2019. It has been six months and I couldn't be happier with the results. I now feel so much better about myself. I am now scheduled to have a Vertical Medial Thigh Lift and a Posterior Body Lift in November. I highly recommend Dr. Sands and his entire staff. As a matter of fact, I did recommend them to a friend and she had surgery in May.They really have a way of making you feel like family at every visit. I look forward to my continuing journey.

I am 10 weeks post op! I feel and look fab thanks to Dr. Sands! Not only does he genuinely care for his patients but he’s very good at what he does! His staff is amazing! As soon as you walk in his office you know this is where you want to be. I recommend some Lymphatic massages from Mario they feel good and relieved swelling for me. I highly recommend Dr. Sands and will pass this on! He owns bragging rights!

I am five weeks post op and am very happy with my results! Most of my pain has subsided and I feel good. I still have a little swelling but Dr. Sands recommended that I go to a Lymphatic Massage Therapist. I chose Mario’s Massage in Kenner and he is awesome! Dr. Sands recommended 2 times a week for four weeks. I have been 4 times so far and it is working on the swelling and I think that I am healing faster because of the lymphatic drainage. Dr. Sands is great. He is easy to talk to and his staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Sands. I don’t have any photos to share but when I go to my next check up I will ask Dr. Sands to take an after photo and I will add it to my review.

Dr. Sands is very skillful surgeon, and is knowledgeable of the procedure he performs. I was extremely nervous about having surgery, but Dr. Sands throughly explained everything to me which made me more comfortable. He and his staff is so nice! I'm in LOVE with my results!!! Stephanie and the rest of the staff were experienced and personable and made me feel taken care of pre and post - op. Dr. Sands ensured that I knew all information relevant before, during, and after my surgery, which made the surgery and the recovery process a breeze. I am very pleased with the outcome of my surgery and owe Dr. Sands for curing my chronic pains. I was searching for a doctor who can give me great results and easy to talk to about a breast reduction. I wanted a doctor who can make me look beautiful after my reduction. Dr. Sands was very professional bedside and personally. He has a conversation with you about your needs and wants so you can have a positive outcome. The office and nursing staff are professional and friendly. The office makes you feel like a celebrity. I would go to see Dr. Sands again for another procedure because he does beautiful work.
