Liposuction treatments, when performed incorrectly, can create an uneven, lumpy look that is far from what you envisioned for your body. When liposuction has led to an unsatisfactory result, a revision can be performed to achieve the slimmed, sculpted figure that led you to committing to the treatment.
What is the recovery time after liposuction revision?
The recovery time after a liposuction revision should be uneventful, when your revision is performed at SANDS Aesthetics + Plastic Surgery. We carefully monitor our patients throughout every step of treatment, and ensure they are comfortable, cared for, and very happy with the results. The revision may be performed with only local anesthesia and intravenous sedation, which will speed the recovery time. After the revision is complete, you will need to continue to wear the compression garments, typically for several weeks. You should take the time you need to rest and heal and avoid any vigorous physical activities until Dr. Sands gives you the go-ahead. You can expect a similar recovery time to the original procedure, with the results achieved at about four to six weeks.
